MANUAL THERAPY
Manual Therapy is a passive, hands-on skilled treatment which can include joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization. These techniques can be used to improved range of motion, mobilize joints, control pain, reduce swelling and increase mobility. Manual Therapy utilizes specific techniques without the assistance of devices or machines.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY (MFR):
Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy that can be useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.
SPORTS THERAPY
Sports Therapy injury management includes both conservative care of acute and chronic injuries, as well as post-operative rehabilitation progressions. Sports Physical Therapy also helps in the rehabilitation to allow patients to get back to maximum level of physical function or sports-specific condition – no matter what age or ability.
TOTAL JOINT REPLACEMENT
Physical therapy treatments are a necessary part of a joint replacement recovery, as they help people restore movement in their artificial joint; build up strength around the new joint; ease their pain and swelling; help with circulation to avoid post-op complications; and, most importantly, speed up the recovery process and help people get back to their normal routines quickly and safely.
